We are a small bespoke Gardening firm based in West Horsley in Surrey, we pride ourselves on personal connection and an open and honest dialogue with our client base.
When I set up the business almost 17 years ago my aim was to create something which delivered a boutique, premium service and was grounded in my passion and love of horticulture. We believe everyone’s garden, no matter the size should be treated as an extension of their home. At Green Roots we aim to create beautiful spaces which are designed to be loved and lived in.
Community Garden Package
We've created our Community Garden scheme for neighbours who want professional maintenance without the premium price tag of a solo visit. The idea is simple: when several households on the same street or close sign up together, we come to you all in one run — saving on travel time and passing those savings straight back to you.
Sometimes a garden just needs a fresh pair of eyes
Our Garden Health Check is a thorough, unhurried walk-through of your outdoor space with one of our team. We look at everything — soil condition, drainage, plant health, structure, pest or disease problems, and anything that simply isn't working as well as it could. At the end you'll receive a clear, honest report with practical recommendations, prioritised so you know what needs attention now and what can wait. A fixed fee is charged for the Health Check, details of which will be confirmed at the time of booking. There's no obligation to take things further with us. Some clients prefer to roll their sleeves up and tackle the list themselves - in which case our report gives them exactly what they need to do that well. Others hand the work back to us, knowing it's in good hands. Either way, the Health Check is yours to keep.
What you can expect from us at Green Roots
Initial conversation
Get in touch with our team either via the website or calling us directly. You will speak to our owner and founder Ollie Howe who will set up an initial face to face meeting on site.
Next steps
Once we have understood your needs and vision, Ollie will send over a bespoke maintenance plan or garden design/planting plan.
Starting the project
After another conversation either on the telephone or in person we will pencil in a first visit to commence your works.
We'll produce the garden of your dreams!
